Miner teaches first grade at River Heights, a position her colleagues and students agree she was made for. We are proud to recognize her as one of our district’s finest teachers.

Teaching has been a lifelong passion for Miner. The bonds she builds with her students inspire her to stay in the classroom.

On Monday, September 23rd, the U.S. Department of Education recognized River Heights Elementary as a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School. River Heights is one of 356 schools in the nation chosen for excelling in academic performance or closing gaps in achievement amongst student groups.
